MGM Grand offers standard hotel rooms and some upgraded suites. MGM Signature is an all-suite resort with studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts, most with kitchenettes or full kitchens, separate living areas, and private balconies. If you're staying more than two nights, or traveling with family, the extra space at Signature makes a real difference.
Atmosphere: Busy vs. Quiet
MGM Grand is one of the largest hotels in the world. Casino floor, clubs, concerts, thousands of guests moving through daily. MGM Signature has no gaming floor and no smoking. The lobby is calm. You can hear yourself think. Both properties are connected, so you can walk to the MGM Grand energy whenever you want it, then come back to quiet.
Amenities: Shared Access, Different Feel
Signature guests use MGM Grand's restaurants, spa, and casino via the walkway. They also have three private pools exclusive to Signature guests, which are noticeably less crowded than the main MGM Grand pool complex. Room charging privileges work across both properties.
Dining: Eat Out vs. Eat In
MGM Grand has dozens of restaurants steps from your room. Signature suites have kitchens, which means you can stock breakfast, make coffee in the morning, and save the dining budget for the meals that are worth it. Both approaches work depending on how you travel.
Pricing: More Space, Often Better Value
Signature suites frequently offer more square footage at a comparable or lower rate than MGM Grand, especially when you book direct. No third-party fees, priority suite selection, and flexible policies.
