What to Pack for Las Vegas: MGM Signature Essentials and Local Must-Haves

Published November 25, 2025

Las Vegas runs on extremes. The desert heat outside, the aggressive air conditioning inside, pool days followed by dinner reservations. Packing well means thinking through all of it. If you're staying at MGM Signature, a few extras will help you get more out of the suite and the amenities.

The Basics

  • Light layers: t-shirts, breathable fabrics, and something warmer for heavily air-conditioned venues.

  • Sunglasses and sunscreen, even in winter. The desert sun is strong year-round.

  • Comfortable shoes for walking the Strip. You'll cover more ground than you expect.

  • One evening outfit for dinners or shows.

  • A reusable water bottle. Hydration matters in the desert.

For the Pool

Signature has three private heated pools. Bring two swimsuits, waterproof sunscreen, a hat, flip-flops, and a pool bag. A cover-up is useful for walking through the lobby between the pool and your suite.

For Dining and Nights Out

Some rooftop bars and lounges have dress codes. Check ahead and pack one outfit that covers it. A light jacket or blazer works for cool indoor venues and dressier spots.

For the Suite Kitchen

One of the better reasons to stay at Signature is the in-suite kitchen. Bring your preferred coffee or tea, any breakfast staples you rely on, and use Instacart or Vons for grocery delivery before you arrive. A bottle of wine for the first night doesn't hurt either.

For Day Trips

If you're heading to Red Rock Canyon or Valley of Fire, pack hiking shoes, a daypack, a light jacket for early mornings, and a portable charger. Go early, before the heat builds.

One Last Thing

Leave room in your bag for the return trip. Between the shops, the food, and whatever else Vegas produces, you'll want the space. Browse available suites or contact us if you have questions before your stay.
